“Can’t sing, can’t really play any thing but one-handed keyboards (stop sniggering), dreamed of being a guitarist, wished he could blow a shrill b flat on a muted trumpet, blur the notes on a fretless bass guitar  and write the soundtrack  to someone else’s life other than his own, but wishes are wishes, rarely all they pretend to be but what the hell, some of this stuff sounds and looks  pretty good!”
